AIRLINES PRICE HIKE
Aviation industry planning to increase the price of air ticket to 20 - 25%. The Aviation Industry wants to change the price of air ticket from December this year onward.The reason for this hike is the unlimited hike of the fuel and this led to 40% increase of aviation turbine fuel.Because of this, major Airlines like Kingfisher, Jet Airways, Spice Jet and Go Air together suffered a loss of 25000 crore in the last quarter.
Kingfisher chairman Vijay Mallya's comment about this:
“When we increase the price on a particular route, other companies often don’t, so we are left with no option but to reduce the price,”
Major aviation industies are in a mood to accepting the price hike.So the flight travel will become a dream to the normal man.
